Below is a complete list of tools and resources I use personally to run my entire business online from my laptop. 

This is a list of the exact resources and tools I use myself now. *Note: Many of these tools are free, and some of them cost money to use. Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning I get compensated if you click and buy something on their site, I’ve starred the ones that are. I only refer products I actually use and trust. If you’re not sure, assume every link below is an affiliate link.

Building an Online Website / Store

  • NameCheap* (Great affordable place to buy domains)
  • Siteground* (Affordable website hosting where I host most of my sites including this one, use it to install WordPress in 1-click.)
  • Shopify* (Best Way to Create an E-commerce Store in Minutes)
  • Thrive Cart (Simple easy to use shopping cart tool, and is only a one-time payment, no monthly fees)

Landing Pages / Funnels

  • LeadPages* (Simple, and powerful landing page builder I use this to build single landing pages quickly.)
  • ClickFunnels* (Create and share entire marketing and sales funnels, I use this to create full funnels.)

Email List Building & Marketing Automation

  • MailerLite* – (My new favorite email marketing tool. Very low tech and easy to use and it’s free for your first 1000 subscribers.)

Web Analytics

  • Google Analytics (Free and powerful analytics tracking)
  • Improvely (Another great link tracking tool I use for paid campaign tracking)

Getting Paid / Invoicing / Accounting

  • Stripe (Simple payment merchant system)
  • PayPal (Popular, reliable way to get paid)
  • Wave (Easy and free accounting software)

Productivity

  • Dropbox (Cloud storage)
  • Google Drive (Online docs)
  • Flux – (Reduces blue light on computer for better sleep. Better sleep = high productivity.)
  • Momentum – (Turns your chrome tab into motivation and goals.)

Hiring

Team / Project Management

  • Trello (Kanban style project tracking, I use this to manage my daily workflow and team projects)

Screensharing / Screencasts

  • Screencast-O-Matic (Crazy affordable desktop screen recording tool)
  • CloudApp – (Cool app for chrome to take screenshots, videos, and gifs to share with others)
  • Loom (Another free screen recording tool for chrome, also adds videos nicely into emails)

Communication / Meetings

  • Slack (Team messaging)
  • Zoom (Free video calls and online meetings. I stopped using Skype completely for video.)
  • Calendly (I use calendly for all my calendar appointments or client meeting scheduling)

Security

  • LastPass (Simple password management, good for personal use)
  • 1 Password (another useful password storage which supports teams)

Audio Recording
