Design Work Wins Shopify Mega Contest

It is great when your work helps build successful businesses, especially when it gets featured in the New York Times.

A recent project I have been a part of for a few months now with owner of BuyMafia.com, won Top Digital Goods Store in the recent, Shopify Build-A-Business contest.

The site owner, a friend of mine, wanted his site to be easy to use for his customers and simple to run for him. We explored many options but I recommended he go with Shopify as his ecommerce platform, since it would solve both his requirements. My part was to put everything together from the entire site layout and design to even the mailing list campaigns. With a combination of creativity, hard work, and luck the project was a success.

The website continues to grow and has also been featured on the popular blog by Tim Ferriss, FourHourWorkWeek.com.
